3 Months

Harrison is 3 months old today!!



What are you up to these days?



~You smile like crazy when mommy and daddy talk to you.

~You are trying your hardest to roll over.

~You love watching Baby Einstein.

~You love to play on your activity mat.

~Your sleeping through the night and have been for quite a while. You go to bed around 8 and get up around 5:30.

~You love to be outside.

~You are not big on naps during the day.

~You are very alert and nosey about what is going on around you.

~You are starting to get good control of your head

~You coo and talk to your toys and to people when they talk to you.

~You love your hands and have them constantly going

~You kick your legs and ride your bicycle:)!



You have brought more joy to our lives than we ever knew exsisted! Mommy and Daddy both love you so much and are enjoying watching you grow. We can't wait to see what milestones your accomplish this next month.

Our Trip

Harrison and I made it to Herber Springs and back this past week. We sure did miss Adam!! I sure have a new appreciation for him. I take forgranted how much help he really is with Harrison! I did have my parents and family to help but it still isn't the same as your hubby. Harrison was wonderful and I couldn't have ask for him to be any better but the packing and unpacking wore me smack out!! You have to pack the whole house to go on a trip with a baby and especially a spit-up baby:)!! Aside from the packing, our trip was wonderful. We got my sister married off and it was a beautiful ceremony. They got married on a cliff over looking a valley and creek. It was surreal scenrey. Really something that you see in the movies. I will have to post some pictures. Speaking of pictures I have got to add some to my previous posts as well. We stayed at the lake house so we were able to get out on the boat a few times, which was nice. Harrison didn't make the boat trips. With a overly protective mommy he will be lucky if he even gets to next year:)! We made it back home on Sunday afternoon late and we were greeted by an anxious daddy and hubby:)!! Adam said he never thought he could miss us so much. One thing is for sure, we missed him terribly! My mom made the trip back with us so she is staying with us for the week. Harrison is being dedicated to church this Sunday, so my dad will be coming in on Saturday. We are excited to be dedicating Harrison to church on Father's Day. It will be a very special day and we will celebrate with family.

Tomorrow is Harrison's 3 month birthday so I will dedicate the post to him alone:)!! It is so hard to believe that he is already 3 months old, oh, how time flies!!

I Survived!

Well I survived the first night away from Harrison! Beleive it or not I even enjoyed myself:)! Adam and I had a wonderful time and it was nice to have some time together. We went shopping at Greenhills and went back to Kate and Hunt's house and relax before dinner and the concert. J Alexander's is where we had dinner and as always it was wonderful!! We then went downtown and hung out for a little while before heading to the concert. Coldplay was AWESOME!! They put on the best concerts. This was our second time to see them and both times we were impressed. We headed back to Kate and Hunt's house and went on to bed (seeing it was way past my bedtime!!). It never is a dull moment being with Hunt, he keeps you laughing constatly. Galey and the boys were in town so we had a big breakfast with them and BeBe this morning. It was so good getting to see them. Of course, I was chopping at the bits to get back to Paris to see my baby. However, I did manage to drag Adam to Target:)! I actually went to see if formula was on sale and low and behold it was, so that was a plus! Harrison is getting so long that he has outgrown his pj's so I was able to find him a few new pj's. Oh yeah, we went to Janie and Jack in Green Hills (I haven't been there since Harrison was born) and I could have bought out the entire store!! They have the most precious clothes for him. I was able to find him a few things on sale. He even got a new pair of swimming trucks, which could be the cutest thing I have ever seen!! I was so anxious to see my sweet baby, I missed him so much!! According to JoJo he was great!! She even took him to church this morning and it was the first time for him to be in the nursery. He managed to spit-up and pooped on the lady in the nursery and it just so happens that his Daddy did the exact same thing to the same lady the first time he was in the nursery when he was a baby! He is already falling in his daddy's footsteps:)!





This week Harrison and I are heading to Herber Springs for my sister's wedding. Adam is not able to go with us due to some big appointments with work:(! We will sure miss him but we will be praying and keeping our fingers crossed that his appointments go well. This is my sister's second wedding so it is very small and private. The wedding is Thursday so we will head over on Tuesday night to my parents and then over to Herber on Wednesday morning. I am a little nervous about taking Harrison on such a long trip but I think it will help breaking it up between the two days. He does great in the car but I just hate for him to spend a half day in the car. It will be fun to be with my family and we will be staying on the lake so that will be fun as well. My mom is going to be coming back with us and staying for a week so that is exciting! She is very excited that she gets to spend some time with Harrison. She misses him so much and wishes she could be with him everyday but we do the best that we can.

Adam's Birthday

Yesterday was Adam's birthday and we celebrated with his family last night. I won't tell how old he is but I will give you a hint....he will be the big 3-0 next year:)!!! I'm thinking that Harrison and I will have to plan big for next year. We had a really nice dinner at his mom and dad's last night. She cooked chicken enchiladadas and had homemade strawberry cake (my favorite). Anything that JoJo cooks you know it is bound to be good!! Adam and I will continue to celebrate this weekend. We are leaving Harrison for the first time overnight and I am a little aprehensive about the situation. I know that he will be just fine in the care of Pop and JoJo and I am sure that he may get a tad spoiled too. But, I am going to miss him like crazy!!! We are headed to Nashville to go to the Coldplay concert and to do a little shopping. We will be celebrating Adam's birthday and our anniversary. I am excited and know that we will have a good time. We're going with Hunter and Katie ( adam's cousin and his wife) and we always have fun with them. So Happy Birthday to Adam and Happy Aniversary to us!!
